Eighteen Years
Sitting here at my 18th Birthday
The cake has a baby picture of me on it,
I looked so little,
Im the size of a giant now.
My mom sits there with tears in her eyes,
She can not believe that i will be on my own,
After all the countless nights,
All the poopy diapers,
After everything that has happened,
I am finally free.
I can just walk right out the front door,
and never come back like a stray cat.
I am finally free.
