Happily never after
Was the tickle in my belly,
Really the butterflies most say they get,
Or a nest full of bees readying to attack?
Was the smile I gave,
Really for the thought of seeing you,
Or to help you not feel pity,
For no one called you by your real name?
Was the late night walks,
Really magical as the sky filled with colors,
Ending the day and daring another to begin,
Or a figment of a small town girl’s imagination?
