Is getting to find your name
The search can go on for years
But eventually, you find one that fits
And if you’re me, you make it your own.

Originally a nickname given to me by Elizabeth
An extension of Meli
Meli: honey or bee, an affectionate term
due to ridicule from my family about the “femininity” of Meli
We added the -chael was a way
To make it as androgynous as I am,
also probably to hint at Michael Jackson
