I know this it is hard to love and accept yourself for who you are without the fear of being judged

It always was

It always will be

I know this we are always unhappy with something

People want to change themselves into something they’re not

This is what society has instilled upon us

I know this we are all beautiful in our own skin

I think that there are better ways to change

Ways that are positive, harmless, healthy

I think altogether we can transform lives

We can lower standards,

Change the expectations,

Of every individual who has ever felt like they don’t fit

(it is our loss.)

We need to listen to those who feel like they’re not good enough

We need to hear what they go through; everybody’s story is different

We need to respect the changing and the new beginnings

Of those who are learning to love themselves without the fear of shame

I know that a step in the right direction is impactful

I know those who want to be accepted must be open to change

I know society has a weak spot,

Just like every single person,

It can, and it will, be broken down and changed for the better

We need a support system where anyone can turn

We need acceptance. . . We deserve acceptance

We owe it to ourselves to re-create our minds

And find a happier and improved way of life
