Eiffel Tower
The early morning sun crawls over the east horizon.
The dew just barely melting away,
while the city begins to wake for the day.
The dazzling colors are just starting to appear.
Ever so slightly a stream of sun hits my eyes.
I roll over not ready for the day.
Feeling foggy, I open my eyes,
I remember,
why I came to this beautiful city.
While walking down the street I feel the warmth,
the air makes me smile to myself.
This place will always take my breath away.
The aroma of sweet pastries,
just starting to file out of the doors.
While I sit and eat,
I take in the breathless colors of the sky.
How mesmerizing they are behind the Eiffel Tower.
