The Caged Bird

See the flying of the Bird,
I think he’s angry at his useless words.
He finds it hard to find the freedom,
Overshadowed by the false wisdom
Attempting to live my own age,
Who is that trying near my cage?
The mother, the controlling protector,
It is she who controls my ways.
In attempt to live on my own,
It is she who locks my cage.
