The Man of my life!
Not he who plays hide and seek with me
And fights that he has won, at his 6
But he who plays hide and seek with me
And makes me win every time we play, at his 26
Is the man of my life
Not he who sends me
Notes on the very sight of my message, during our exams
But he who wakes up till 2AM for me
In his room, peeps at me now and then to see when I sleep, during my exams
Is the man of my life
Not he who tells me
Answer which i don't know during our exams
But he who waits for me
In scorching heat for 2 long hours and still greets me with a smile after my exam
Is the man of my life
Not he who talks with me
Late night and i sleep with my phone on my ear
But he who on seeing me
Sleeping like that puts the blanket on me removing the phone from my ear
Is the man of my life
Not he who wishes me
At 12 in the morning and gifts me teddy on my birthday
But he who takes me
To the temple at 4 in the morning on my birthday
Is the man of my life
Not he who on learning about my new job
Asks me for a treat
But he who on learning about my new job
Gives his friends sweets
Is the man of my life
Not he who sends me
Different colours of roses on every rose day
But he who scolds me
On buying him even a 500 rupee wallet from my savings on his birthday
Is the man of my life
Not he who gifts me
A crop top with a smile
But he who brings me
A red lehenga with a teary eye
Is the man of my life
Not he who smiles at me
Seeing me in my beautiful bridal dress
But he who hides from me
His teary eye on seeing me throwing rice on his dress
Is the man of my life
I call him PAPA
