I stand against the willow bend
And think about how we should start again
Forget-me-nots brush against my fingertips
Broken butterflies heaving sighs from my lips.

In my head I think of what it once was,
and how it will not be that anymore.
And I can't stop thinking it's all because
of the warning signs I chose to ignore
