Blackness.
The first thing you see
But not soft darkness
That cradles you into
Rest
Blinding darkness
As harsh as the white light
That you can almost feel
Invading
One-sided
A description that
Doesn’t change
No matter who
You ask
Don’t inquire
After
Too many
Or they will
Do the same
To you
And it will all
Be
Too
Much
Drowning in color
In colorless
People
Grabbing at You
