No Doubt
Ain’t it fun knowing exactly who I am
and not worrying about what others think?
No one has ever had to tell me to grow up,
because I’ve been acting
like an adult since I was little.
Sometimes I sit here, daydreaming
about what it’d be like to not struggle with anxiety,
so I’ve learned to find a release through books and music.
When it rains, the gloomy weather soothes me
yet when the skies clear
and the rain washes away, the sunsets bring me joy.
The unpredictable is terrifying
But I’ve learned that the unplanned is the best.
There’s still a lot left to discover about myself, but I know for sure
that there will never be anyone who loves or cares more than I do.
