“The Flag”
I look up to it
I am blinded by 13 stripes
The only thing I see besides dark green bushes and trees
Colored clouds
Blank thoughts
Whirling winds
Lit Lights
Water I see
This image controls my thoughts
Why look up at it
when all it has done was let me down?
Mountains peak through trying to get noticed
I hear the abandoned tree screaming for help
I hear the stars whispering for help
But in reality America needs help
