Joker
You’re out of cards to play
Except for your aces
But if you throw those
You’ll be out of faces
Out of masks and covers
Sides and facades
Once you’re out of cards
You won’t last very long
Tired of the game
Yet can’t seem to quit
Your obsessive personality
Is now an addict
Play your hearts
Play your spades
Your clubs and your diamonds
It’s all the same
But don’t forget
The secret in your control
The Joker is the one card
No one knows you hold
