I wish I was a bird

Flying through the open sky

Snacking on worms

Careless and free

I wish I was a snake

Slithering through long grass

Staying hidden, catching rodents

Dutiful and alert

I wish I was a bat

Soaring through the night

Sleeping through the day

Wild and nocturnal

But I am a fox

Darting through the forest

Returning to my den

Responsible and catious
