Seconds of awareness before drifting away

Blaring white noise, people and their daily lives

Imaginations travel, somewhere else

Anywhere else

Lists flood your mind, ideas

Of somewhere you’d rather be

Anywhere else

Inability to stay content, with who you are and where you are

Always wondering what life would be,

Anywhere else

And sometimes you wander

Although not very often, you succeed

In seeing, feeling, being

And those are the moments you cherish

Always remembering,

Every time  you wish you were somewhere else,
