Thanksgiving
Family and friends bustling about while plates of food are being prepared
The smell of turkey, potatoes and pie fill our modest sized house
Orders are being barked by my father as he shouts over the loud chatter in the living room
Finally, I taste the first morsel of food that I have all day, and the savory taste of turkey fills my watering mouth
We are all laughing as we say goodbye, our bellies full from the night's festivities
