Dandelion
i thought all it took was one wish
either one wish for one kiss
or one wish to get over this
or one wish to do anything but miss
i thought i could make one wish and blow you away
one wish and you would stay
one wish and you could be by my side day after day
but that one wish led me astray
i accepted after that failed wish that you were not the one
little did i know, like a dandelion, my love for you would never be done
around my heart, the dandelion seeds spun
and everytime we touch i am still undone
wishing on dandelions all of the time
into the air, my wish will try to climb
i guess loving you is my crime
but no matter how many wishes, you will never be mine

This piece is inspired by my love for someone who loves someone else. The song "Dandelions" by Ruth B. inspired the representation of a dandelion for this person.
