Time is the empress of the world is she not
Not a sound or warning she makes
But what does she not take?
None escape the dictator of life’s wrath
Witness to birth and death ,
Youth, wealth and pride are just a few under her spell
She leaves only our memories to dwell
Are we not pawns of she,
Who has made part of her game- you and me
