Before me in the mirror

was a beautiful girl

burning with flames

her eyes stinging from the boiling tears

wondering the result of

one fresh, cold, deep breath of air.


The droplets lining the sink bubbled with heat

Until met by the single tear of sophistication

Her hand reaching out to touch the cold concoction

Of love dominating rage.
