Walking toward the doors
Is like walking into numbing hell
The handle is cold
And you don’t want to be here
Seeing the red bricks in the wall
Wishing I was back in bed
Hoping it would turn into a good day;
Knowing that won’t happen.
Smashing the school door open like a
Building crashing to the floor
Breaking the hinge
Not caring if the glass breaks.
The aroma that wafts into your
Nose as you walk through those
Doors is like a century old egg
Rotten and black.
The dull smile on staff faces
Makes me want to turn around
And never come back,
Walking into hell is a daily task.
