So cold,
Uncomfortable,
LIke a tattoo,
On a chair of ice.
So gray,
And discolored
Like a colorblind man.
Only when the snow falls,
Is it beautiful.
Snow falling down,
Like a man running.
Not the rain,
Not the slush,
Not the walking frostbite wind.
But the holidays.
The family time,
And days off school.
Fireplace gatherings.
Winter is wonderful,
for all.
