Stone Skirmish
Do you like to learn?
I’ll assume that you do.
Do you want a bunch of information?
Sounds like it could be useful.
How about some you will never use?
No?
Of course not.
Do you want to feel like you’re playing Chutes and Ladders?
Feel like you’re ahead, only to be sent all the way to the back.
And why would you?
Because you have to.
Do you want to roll a boulder up a hill?
Only to drop it when you are close to the top and be forced to roll a new one.
What if your classmates all had a boulder, some bigger than others.
What if you were all judged by how fast you got that rock up that hill.
What if yours was the biggest?
What if you were considered weak because your boulder is biggest but they didn't care?
School is that boulder.
Like an artist with clay, forming you to be exactly what they want.
Not knowing that everyone is meant to be shaped in different ways.
School is an ignorant old man, who plans on dying stupid.
