The Truth Behind Sadness
To feel off is almost as comforting
As a warm blanket
Although the sadness washes over me
It never consumes me
Long ago,
I watched others who were happy
And full of glee
I too have become full
Until loneliness met me
I know that I was not made
For the sadness to feed off of
But sometimes,
I have no choice
