We are gods
creating our own universes
with skies of color
earth of ink
inhabited by paper characters
We control their lives by the pen we wield
what they speak are only the words we want off the pages
they are perfect in every way
No matter how many they kill or how little sense they make
Because they are ours
Only ours
They have six arms and six fingers on each hand and that's normal just because we say it is
And we love them so much so we’ll kill them too
We are artists
