Where I'm From
I am from, a blue house, a green hill, and cornfields,
where I sled in the winter and play catch in the summer.
From rock retaining walls and a black driveway,
when I learned to wear a helmet.
From Hartland, Wisconsin,
the place I was raised.
I am from a crystal clear pool, wood-chips and grass,
where I spent my summers playing games.
From sunburn and sand,
when I learned to wear sunscreen.
From Good Times Summer Day Camp,
“The happiest place on earth.”
I am from, Elder scrolls, Pokemon, and Assassins creed,
Where I am the strongest, and never make mistakes.
From Call of Duty and Halo.
When I learned playing with friends is more fun,
from playing video games in my basement,
the place I spend all my time.
