About you
What was I supposed to do?
When I couldn’t alter
My feelings for You.
Met you for the first time,
Fell in love with You,
And suddenly
everything was about you.
Nothing seemed more impractical
than losing all of myself to You
it was, as if,
it was meant to be
And seemingly,
everything was about you.
Catching your glances,
in the hallway,
Made me feel,
a little too swayed.
Unknown feelings,
crossing my mind,
wondering if your heart races
or has it been kind.
And when I Struggled to change
My essence for you,
I realized that
everything was always about you.
The instance, when you
looked in my eyes,
in that moment,
I was infinite.
Words can’t describe,
what I felt
when you took my hand
and on your right knee
u knelt,
it was, as if,
someone had unlocked my heart
by using one of their own little key
and I knew that from then, everything would be about you.
After that, you left.
Let my soul bleed from my eyes,
It happened too soon for me to realize
That I will now see you
Only in my dreams
And the story of how you betrayed me
Will play for ever in my head.
You told me I should forget you
You told me you were sorry
Everyone also said that I’m past this
Then how come everything is still about you?
