a mind devoted so completely to you
a mind devoted so completely to you--
a symphony ignites in my mind
the world gleams pure white
innocence
gifts of warmth and rosy cheeks
helium in my lungs and i'm floating
the safety and protection of an anchor
but the anchor gouges into the sand
and the white gleam becomes blinding
and you never noticed it before
but the sky had crashed down to become
a prison
the torsion of hope
of a future
and i'm afraid that i have just become
a reflection of you
and maybe your sky has crashed down as well
and maybe the world has become
a little too bright
and the symphony
a little too loud.
