Through These Walls
Closing my eyes that night,
Will be the hardest,
The vivid images of the doors,
Stay etched in my brain,
The thousands of students,
Walking with no care in the world;
Are the essence of that place,
The bell, like a siren rings in all of our ears,
Ring, Ring, Ring,
Although we may hear it, we just aren’t the same,
Ring, Ring, Ring,
I hear it,
Do you?
