Insomniac
i promised myself this wouldn’t happen again
where i wouldn’t chase after a girl,
yet
i let my rules bend,
the question i propose
why is my heart so fat,
but not in a health aspect
but the way that lets me get walked on
like a floor mat,
so i write these poems,
to blow off steam,
while steadily my mind and insides scream,
I still believe you’re the girl of my dreams,
yet it’s sorry to say that we’ll never meet,
all because of you,
now i never sleep.
