Broken and Unstable

A fallen arch stands
Symbolizing our relationship,
It not unlike us, has been destroyed
With no means of getting repaired
Fragments lay on the ground
One side barely standing upright
The weight on top
is too much for it to bear
The arch isn’t a symbol of us
It is us
We make up the arch
Both of us, together
Together it forms an arch
A broken, unstable arch
Those words sum up our relationship
Broken and unstable
