Sometimes

Sometimes I run from my nightmares
other times I stand still.
I try to face them head on,
but they knock me down.
Sometimes I smile through pain,
other times I show what I’m feeling.
Sometimes I’m scared that you’ll leave me.
Other times I know you will be there for me.
But all the time I know you love me,
you give me hugs,
and support.
I love you everyday
Not just sometimes
