Falling through my bed,                                                                                                 Drifting down-                                                                                           Slowly, quietly.                                                                                                            When plop,                                                                                             landing on words,                                                                                             soft as a pillow.                                                                                           Words, sentences, paragraphs                                                                   Swimming around,                                                                                  sharing stories                                                                                              real and false.                                                                                         Words surround                                                                                           like a fuzzy warm blanket.                                                                       Rocking me gently until I wake.
