Droplets
I would play in the garden,
run in the mud,
Help water the plants.
I would
Collect water in my toy bucket.
Drip droplets
onto pretty flowers.
Things were simple like that.
Now everything collects and grew
more complicated.
Feeling as if
everything is soon going
to overflow soon.
I wish everything
could go back to being
Just drops in a bucket

What inspired the poem is the feelings I sometimes have. Feelings that arise when looking back at life and how far I have come. How everything seemed idyllic and simpler than now. I hope that I captured that in my poem.
