Side of the road,
Stiff, silent.
Exposed inside out,
Everything seen.
Food for others,
Flies all over.
Never to be remembered,
Never to be seen.
Earth has claimed another,
Everyone forgets
What was once there.
The weak gain,
The strong gain,
From this loss.
Many can gain,
Maybe only one will,
Everyone forgets
What was once there.
Some hurt from this,
Some take advantage.
In the end
Everyone moves on.
