Lose yourself in between me

Guide me

Chew my food so I can swallow easier

Embrace me

The suffocation you put me through or that I put you through was unbearable

Like me

Before the love

See me

Before your touch break barriers build by my insecurities

Baby steps with you

All I desire

Car rides with you

All that matters with my heart in your possession

As we play this emotional game of catch

Hot potato

Burning holes in your hands

No wonder my heart keeps falling

I’m sorry

I know you hurt me because you love me

Or maybe because I love you

Maybe I keep you

Because I was never kept

Maybe I leave you bee

Because next to a weed, a flower looks more pretty

Your pride on my sleeve

It doesn’t exist when your with me

My timid smile

That I shade with a ballpoint pen and a voice we look so perfect, so authentic

But some of the most real things on this earth you can’t see

Even in the midst of solitude we’re fighting

Ourselves are our biggest battles

Even in the thick of beauty your ugly dilutes and I blink

Creating silent sound waves

Because I was made to silence my thoughts

Silence my mind

Silence my love

Because I’m just too much

And you still call me back

With your territory/ abandonment issues holding my waist

I breath in

Hoping to make it smaller

I would allow myself to be free

If I had authority

Taking your polluted air into my jail bars of a rib cage

But I keep breathing

Because You’re all the air I have

You’re five step away but we make it continents

You told me you love me without confidence

now I’m not sure of myself

But I still wait

With your pride on my sleeve while whispering in your ear

Say it again
