Outside a Bottle
The hotel reveals itself to midnight
The midnight sky, dark like the blood spilled on a goblet
The hotel, like a neglected and moldy shack
With kids playing hide and seek with no seeker
Like a paper flowing with the wind
With the alcoholics having their silver drinks
And little kids sobbing for their dads
Like an unexplored side of the moon
Always dark like hotel rooms
With the smells of burnt cigars and dreams
Like a corridor going on and on with no end.
