Humans
Evolution sifted humans
To forge us to be special
Like nothing else in the universe
We were given a majestic gift
Sight, Taste, Hearing, touch, and smell
To appreciate the beauty displayed
Like a shopper with unlimited funds
We indulge in the beauty in front of us,
Our senses allow us to find joy in certain things
Some love shopping,
Others love the scent of candy store,
But at the end of the day
most people fail to love
Like a teenager unappreciative of their mother
the one thing that is within us
And everywhere we look
The very thing that made us
Is elsewhere in our field of vision
The elements within us are special
And allows us to enjoy.
Not only are we superior mammals
But the only known superior breed in the universe
And we think it’s ok to just throw it away
time to bring the divine intervention
We have recognized destruction
Yet such few people take action
Time to put the environment in front of us
The environment can live without us
But we can’t live without the environment
Sooner than later destruction will take us 6 feet under
