Art
I love to make art, create art.
The way it can show so much more
the way you can put a simple idea to paint,
a basic emotion and just call it
art.
When making art I feel as if I am in a different world.
The walls around me crumbling down as I am consumed
by nothing but a simple paintbrush.
Painting an imaginary world getting drifted by its time.
Not noticing how the sky outside fades to the dry night.
A simple gesture of my hand to create a whole ocean of emotion
though in the end, it is just a blue sky.
Art
It is here for me when I can not comprehend what I am feeling on the inside
So instead of letting out a cry,
I pick up a dry paintbrush.
With this ordinary activity,
I can create a whole different galaxy
A world where the grass is no longer green but,
a faded, purple.
Where creatures are the size of people
Letting out all the imagination that is haunting my mind
letting it all out like it is a battle cry.
Art is something powerful that I enjoy
It takes me to a new world just for my own
Forgetting about the reality that is happening around me
All the horrors and the misfortune of the world with no glee
With just this simple hobby I can forget who I am
Fall back into a slumber in another land.
With the creation of the mind demonstrated with
Pen and paper.
