The Sun Under The Stars
I feel different under the stars
Then I do in the sun
The sun
Warms my soul
And darkens my skin
Under the stars
My eyes glisten
And thoughts fill my mind
In the dark
the thoughts in my head
Run down my cheeks
In the sun
The thoughts in my head
Show up as freckles on my nose
In the sun I'm free
Under the stars, I’m a prisoner
And my thoughts are the cell
