Falling into new life
It wasn't long before she started to fade her petals started to fall
Her color started changing
Her stem started dropping
No longer did she take water in
No longer did she grow
No longer did she make people smile
No longer was she alive
On top of a desk
Next to a fallen bottle of perfume
In a small striped pot
With a friend next to her
She was removed by some hands
The hands didn't toss her
They took her to a spot
A spot in a yard
Where her seeds would be replanted
And her petals brought into a studio
Where they were pressed in a book
She had fallen but hadn't died
She was living in many ways
She soon made people smile again
Her seeds soon reborn into another flower
She was still alive in someone's heart
