panic

my heart races at an unsteady beat
i can’t seem to focus
i can’t seem to get a grip
i’m in a constant state of panic
overthinking every move i make
my head drowning with overwhelming thoughts
i feel stupid for crying
yet the tears still manage to fall
i try to make the right decisions
yet i still can’t seem to figure out
what right decisions are
i try to please everybody
but sometimes,
it’s just too hard
