More Than Just a Clock
Brrrring, Brrrrring.
She wakes up.
Looking sad as if she does not want to be stirred.
Laying curled, hugging a pillow
And not stopping me.
Waiting for someone to interrupt her sadness,
But nothing.
Brrrring, Brrrrring.
Finally being turned off,
By her gloomy hand.
She does not want to talk even if she is lonely.
She wants the friends that will help her.
She wants the love that does not keep her till two in the morning.
She wants to feel happiness.
