Careful
Careful
Oh be careful
Careful not to awake this small creature
A creature so small and defenseless
No claws to defend itself
Careful
No fangs to catch its prey
Careful
No fur to keep it warm
Careful
Soft
Oh so soft
With skin so light and pink the color seems to come alive
With lashes so dark and delicate
Fluttering
The lashes fluttering as the creature peers out onto the world
Wonder
Nothing but wonder
Careful
That wonder could be dangerous
Dangerous to such a small creature that seems as though it could do no harm
Careful
This creature has the ability to shatter worlds
To crumble down lives
Greif
The grief it could cause
If this creature were to disappear without a trace or to come in harm's way
Oh the grief
The ones who became so enraptured by this small delicate creature would feel that grief as though the end of time were upon them
Careful
So be careful
When you cast your gaze upon that creature
You be careful
For the love that was cast down from the heavens and the family of this creature could be so powerful that even the darkest of foes would look upon the face of that creature and feel their heart grow
But oh
Be careful
For the creature
That infant
That newborn baby that has barely just begun to taste this world
Will swallow us all with the love the gave it
The love it took
The love it multiplied
The love it reflected
Gave back
The love of a creature so small
It could be the end of us all
