It All Changed When...
When the leaves faded to yellow
and they withered, turning brown
it was like our friendship
blown away and fallen down
At first it was subtle
Just a background thought
Until another year passed
And no more ignorance was bought
"Can I ask you something?"
I ask as my heart slowly wilts
"Are we still friends?"
You look away, and the weights start to tilt
What if you hate me?
What did I do?
Will you ever come back If I change;
just for you?
I know that we're lost
And we can't deny
Just give me a chance
And please tell me why
Why was I ignored?
That's not like back then A
nd you still won't tell me
What had happened, my friend.

I wrote this from my past experience with a friend. It was a very hard time for me, and I still feel upset about this (only once in a while, though).
