Home (December)
Where friends and family are welcomed.
It's the glue, the bond, and the heart,
that holds your dearest ones close.
Never locked, the door is always open.
Where people came and gone, oh ever so quickly.
Time passes.
Your doors and windows have been boarded up.
A once lively, colourful room.
gone.
Never once did you ever dream,
of a cold, dark place.
So bland. Lonely. Abandoned.
They've messed everything up.
They've destroyed it all.
They've stolen it.
And most likely, forgotten the damage...
You sit, surrounded by your walls.
Trust issues building higher each day.
Your heart sits, in the dark.
Placing band-aids, in all spots.
Wishing, to be one.
As it had been, once before.

It's one, then two. I don't know how to explain. But yeah, this is a start to what I can put myself to work with...
