The Mighty Lion
Once upon a daytime sunny, while I wandered, hot and stuffy,
On a safari searching and exploring -
While I looked, nearly missing, suddenly there came a roar,
As if something greatly called for, calling my name in the great outdoors.
“Hakuna Matata” were the words that were spoke, and I thought that this must be a practical joke.
Simply this and nothing more, “Hakuna Matata.”
Ah, distinctly I could hear, but soon the calling did disappear;
Only I could hear the sound, and soon my safari lodged at a near campground.
I thought I could be hearing things, yet then appeared the great and mighty Jungle King.
He loudly roared “Hakuna Matata.”
Terrified to be approached by such a beast, but my fear soon ceased.
I then heard the calling once more, and the Lion spoke that I was the one he was calling for.
He lead me through the African plains to the place where he and his pride reigns.
Simba, Timon, Mufasa, and Scar; animals talking became very bizarre.
“Hakuna Matata,” what does that even mean?
The lions, birds ,and animals all began to sing in harmony,
Singing their anthem with great glee.
“It means no worries for the rest of your days, it’s our problem free philosophy
“Hakuna Matata.”
Pride rock was truly a sight, it was amazing to see the king and all his might.
“Hakuna Matata” is quite right.
