Nature
Blue skies now shy
As they darken we sigh.
Life starts to die
We all wonder why
But it’s our fault we didn’t try.
We were given a home
But all we do is destroy it
And forget about the gnome.
Nature doesn’t want to quit
But it can’t survive anymore.
We need to do something to help
And hear out natures continuous yelp.
Humans tend to ignore
What washes upon the shore
“It’s not mine” we swore.
We are given many chances
To save what is now gone.
As the lost life enhances
We become drawn
To what we could’ve had.
