Shattered
The first broken bone I had
happened the most
stupid way possible.
It was as stupid as a child
falling into a sand bucket.
The first broken bone
I had broken
Was
the pointless and
Meaningless
tailbone…
I could not believe
I broke my bone
because I slipped
on a small puddle
of water.
At first I didn’t know
whether or not I was sore
or a bone was broken.
But it ached so much that I know
it wasn’t an ordinary injury.
I was at the hospital
I took an X- Ray
And it has shown
a shattered piece
of bone,
and a shattered, sad, and stressed heart.
The bone made me miss
a week of school.
And the days spent there was
absolutely and extremely
boring,
boring,
and boring.
They got upset
At me.
And I was upset
About myself.
