A Friend in Need
You are walking through an art gallery.
You stop in your tracks when something catches your eye.
You aren’t looking at a piece of art,
You see a price tag.
This tag is labeled $658,000.
You begin to breath harder as you look up and see the image.
You can’t believe what it is.
You can barely afford your electric bill,
You bought your house for just $45,000.
You’re mesmerized by this creative form of art.
You take out your credit card and hand it to the lady in the black pantsuit.
Your account is now withdrawn by $657,999.
As you walk out you look into your hands,
You see those dogs playing poker.
And you begin to realize dogs are actually good at poker;
The game hadn’t even begun and they already gambled you out of all your money.
