on a road leading nowhere
going too fast to see
all the warning signs
that I'm surrounded by,
too wrapped up
in my own head
to hear the people
yelling for me
to slow down,
too blinded
by past moments
that I don't see
'DEAD END'
until it hits me
in the face.
