Saturday
Saturday
Waking up,
Woken up.
The sun peaks into my window,
Wooden giants get ripped to the ground.
I slide out of bed,
Im jolted awake.
The start of your average saturday,
This is nothing close to ordinary.
My bare feet trudge across the cool tile
My feet sink into ankle deep water.
I merely wince at first,
My heart jumps into my throat.
I open the window to let in some of the morning air,
Wind whips through my home as the door bursts open.
A deep breath allows relaxation to set in,
Full of panic with my chest burning.
